Scholar Description

I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in Spring 2016 with a B.S. in Biology, a B.A. in French, and a minor in Biochemistry. During this time, I also had the privilege of studying abroad at Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour in Pau, France. Currently, my research focuses on epigenetic alterations such as histone modifications in the acquisition of platinum resistance in ovarian cancer. I am interested in clinical translational research in which a bench-to-bedside aspect is incorporated. The ability to apply knowledge from basic sciences to develop new drugs, devices, and treatment options for patients highly motivates me. Outside of the lab, I love spending time with family and practicing hot yoga.
