Scholar Description

I recently graduated from the University of New Mexico with my Bachelors in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. As an undergraduate I worked for the lab of Dr. Sara Brant where I focused on the systematics of parasites. I have chosen to spend my PREP year in the lab of Dr. Ben Hanelt where my research focus will be evolution and life cycles studies of parasites and hosts. My career goals include attaining my PhD in parasitology and continuing to research parasites, focusing on their evolutionary relationships with their hosts.
