I received my BS in Applied Mathematics from the University of New Mexico with a minor in Computer Science. As an undergraduate I was introduced to mathematical modeling which combined differential equations with a topic in biology like the spread of diseases. This lead me to combining my interests with math, computer science and biology into a project. I particularly enjoy genomics and systems biology like mathematical modeling. I plan to attend a PhD program which will allow me to combine math, computer science, and biology.
