Scholar Description
I graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. Throughout undergrad school, I worked in a lab that focused on mitotic spindle positioning in dividing cells. I will be transiting to a new lab at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences under Dr. Sabrina Samundio-Ruiz. My current research interest focuses on drug development and therapeutics for disease. The lab I will be working on focuses on the effects of environmental metals on cancer. Outside of the lab, I enjoy active activates such as hiking, running, yoga, and snowboarding.
