I was born and raised in Southern California, and I attended Humboldt State University in Northern California where I got my Bachelor's degree in Biology. I spent two years working on regenerative research and now I am working in the lab of Dr. Lee Anna Cunningham and Dr. Michael Wilson looking at neurogenesis in mice using retroviruses for gene transfer into progenitor cells of the hippocampus.
