Scholar Description

I graduated in May 2016 from the University of New Mexico with a B.S./B.A. in Biology/Spanish. Between that year and this I participated in fieldwork through the Museum of Southwestern Biology. I now work in the With Lab on avian malaria. I am very interested in infectious diseases and their dispersal. My time in the museum has also made me aware of the resources they have to offer and I would like to be able to incorporate them into future research. When I am not in the lab, I enjoy hiking, knitting, and reading.
