Scholar Description

I graduated in May of 2017 with a BS in Biology from UNM. In the past, I've conducted research on parasitism in American marten from Alaska, but I decided to join PREP in order to help change research directions. I am presently interested in pharmacology and am working with Dr. Dawn Delfín in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department. Her lab works to find ways to support cell adhesion to the heart in order to improve the success of stem cell therapy and treat heart failure. I am excited about the prospect of hopefully gaining acceptance and going to graduate school in 2018.
