My name is Vanessa Avalos and I recently graduated from California Lutheran University. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. My current research interests include differentiation among glioblastoma cells and the molecular signals that transform healthy brain tissues into tumor cells. I plan on applying to doctoral programs in genetics and molecular biology, in order to later pursue a career in clinical research.
